SVK PK collects, processes and stores it permanently home documents with special reference to regional documents systematically builds universal Czech and foreign Fund of scientific, professional, and beautiful literature, nonfiction and special information sources. The extent of completion method Conspectus is affected by legal standards, the financial possibilities of the library and the státoprávním, which in the course of historical development has undergone several changes. The library gets the funds through mandatory copy, purchase, donation, and domestic and foreign exchanges.

Regional library performs and coordinates the implementation of the regional features of selected basic libraries in the County and is the methodological Center for almost 500 libraries in the Czech Republic.
