Sophia Loizou
Sophia Loizou is an electronic music producer, sonic artist and DJ based in Bristol UK. Sophia has released two major works; ‘Chrysalis’ which was released in 2013 on cassette and digital through London’s Astro:Dynamics label and ‘SINGULACRA’ which was released in 2016 on vinyl and digital through stateside label Kathexis.
As well as releasing records, performing and exhibiting new works she also leads a music production degree course and teaches undergraduate classes. Her areas of specialism are Electroacoustic Composition, Multi-Channel Sound and Computer Music.
Sophia holds both a bachelors degree and Mmus in Creative Music Technology from BSU.
