The Slovak Chamber Theatre in Martin was founded in 1944 as the second professional theatre in Slovakia. Throughout the theatre's lifetime, many important Slovak actors and directors have worked there. Currently, the theatre offers the audience various drama productions with a permanent artistic ensemble, as well as guest artists. The Slovak Chamber Theatre has two stages - the National House and the Studio.
