Slaughter to Prevail
The deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail was formed in Yekaterinburg, Russia, in 2014, by British guitarist Jack Simmons and Russian vocalist Alex Terrible, who had already been notable for his extremely deep guttural vocals from his YouTube cover videos. Influenced by the likes of Suicide Silence, Bring Me the Horizon, and Carnifex, the band is currently signed to the metalcore staple Sumerian Records and have toured through the US, Europe, Canada, and Asia alongside the likes of Cannibal Corpse and Whitechapel. Their discography includes two studio albums, the most recent of which is 2021's Kostolom. Since 2022, they have been based in Orlando, Florida.
