Sinister Souls
Sinister Souls was originally created by Adriaan de Koning (Antistar) and Fred Huurdeman (Kwanto) from Utrecht. After several years in the local drum and bass scene, they decided to join forces in 2009 to spread their own vision of dubstep. They drew inspiration from breakcore, drum and bass, rave and techno. Their debut EP was The Definition of Silence by Rottun Recordings. Other music was then released on labels such as PRSPCT, SCUM, Mindtrick, Section8, Dub Bullet and the duo was also asked to remix the theme song of the German festival Q-Base. In 2018, Adriaan de Koning left the duo to pursue his career as a music video director and Fred Huurdeman continues the project solo.
