Darcy and Tom love each other to death and have finally decided to formalise their relationship. The dream wedding is to be unlike any other, so the luxurious event takes place on an exotic island. However, before the sacramental "I do" is pronounced, the fuss over the wedding preparations sucks the remaining enthusiasm out of the lovers. And the fights with the groom's mother, not to mention the unexpected appearance of the bride's ex, do nothing to rekindle the fading passion. Just when everything looks like a disaster waiting to happen, it turns out that things could get even worse. The island is invaded by pirates, armed to the teeth, who take the wedding party hostage and demand a gigantic ransom. The island is hundreds of miles from civilisation, so there is no point in contacting authorities. In this situation, Darcy and Tom have to face the gangsters themselves to save themselves and their beloved family. In this situation, till death do us part takes on a whole new meaning.
