Sarapata
“We are an electronic arthouse blockbuster – made of sound and light”
Their sound is sculpted from contrasts — ambient textures and seismic basslines, cinematic build-ups and dancefloor breakdowns. It’s music driven by the narrative logic of theatre and film, but powered equally by nature, movement, and emotion. Think concert more than party; a tightly-woven story with tension, release, and twists. From euphoria to melancholy, their sets offer catharsis, dance, and the feeling that something real just happened. On stage, they act less like DJs and more like emotional ringleaders — pulling audiences through high-stakes, high-decibel experiences. Their performances are bold, immersive, and anything but background music.
Sarapata is a brotherly duo of expressive performers, experienced instrumentalists, and versatile producers. Rooted in blood ties and a shared musical instinct, Michał and Mateusz Sarapata create emotionally charged, spatial electronic music that lives somewhere between the Sigur Rós and Scooter.
They draw inspiration from a wide sonic spectrum — from indie pop and progressive metal to film scores and club music — but it all flows into a sound that’s distinctively theirs: theatrical, percussive, atmospheric, and deeply human.
The duo has released two full-length albums. Their latest, Radical Kindness, was recorded almost entirely in a remote cabin at the foot of the Slovak Tatra Mountains. The listeners can hear the isolation and elevation in the music – cinematic post-rock blended with raw, bass-heavy electronica.
Sarapata has performed at leading festivals including Audioriver, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, LAS, Wisłoujście, and Carbon Silesia. They’ve also appeared internationally alongside Czech duo Bratři and as part of Fejká’s live show in Austria, Czech Republic, and Poland.
