Rudy Daddy
Rudy Daddy, a prominent Czech drag king, has been entertaining the European mortal audience since 2019. With an idiosyncratic style that combines 80’s glam metal bands, horror elements and traditional comedy drag, Rudy has been able to showcase his talents on the stages of major queer events such as Prague Pride, Mezipatra, Most Pride, and Blood Ball. He has performed with the Czech drag kings collective The Eggplant Emoji in Ljubljana.
Rudy Daddy started producing shows in his signature punk style in 2024. Freaks & Geeks (or F&G for short) is a monthly queer show and photography project that takes place in the gothic bar Blind Eye in Žižkov. F&G seeks to showcase the beauty of alternative drag, burlesque and freakshow, and aims to give a chance to the young talents of the Czech queer scene.
In 2024, Rudy was invited as a guest to the Miss Drag CZ/SK pageant, where he and four other prominent figures of the Czech drag scene helped choose the winner of that year's competition.
In addition to performing, Rudy is involved in activism, illustration and graphic design.
