Reison Kuroda
Reison Kuroda is a Japanese shakuhachi player.
He studied under Reibo Aoki II and III. He was awarded first prize at the International Shakuhachi Competition held in London in 2018. He has presented solo concerts worldwide including many first performances of new works and concertos for the shakuhachi. He is a member of Hougaku Quartet / Hougaku Shijyuusoudan and of RigarohieS and serves as Japan Cultural Envoy sponsored by the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs.
