Rafał Ryterski
Composer, activist, interdisciplinary artist, curator. Born in 1992 in Gdynia. The synthesis of various musical genres is a characteristic feature of his work, and Ryterski himself calls this practice genrebending. In the last few years, this artist has also been willing to go beyond the convention of music alone, creating interdisciplinary works on the borderline of performance and theatre. His art thematically oscillates around the notion of identity, cultural phenomena specific to the LGBTQ+ community and the exposure of violent mechanisms. Ryterski's music can be heard both in concert halls and clubs – he has released 2 albums to date (Teras are the Diamonds of the Soul, label BAS, 2021 and Gaymers' Cheatsheet, label Pointless Geometry, 2022). In addition, the artist also creates theatre music and has collaborated with directors such as Kuba Kowalski, Marta Górnicka, Agnieszka Jakimiak/Mateusz Atman, Aga Błaszczak, Anna Obszańska, Przemysław Jaszczak.
