Punkáči deťom
Punkáči Deťom is a music and social summer festival. The main motive of the festival is benefit - every year a part of the revenue from the entrance fee is donated as proceeds to help children in need through OZ Punkáči Deťom. The main themes of the festival are understanding, inclusion and solidarity between diverse social groups. Last but not least, also about spreading awareness about the punk subculture, about the values of tolerance, empathy and mutual support.
The core of the festival is the music program. Deťom punks are proud of famous names in the line-up from the foreign and domestic scenes. The festival focuses primarily on the genres of punk, rock, hardcore, metal, ska, reggae, rockabilly and their various offshoots. An important component of the festival is social outreach through the stands and lectures of non-profit organizations that are involved in solving acute social problems. In this way, social awareness spreads among festival visitors, whose ideas can then be implemented in a wider spectrum beyond the borders of the community.
