Pouya Ehsaei

Pouya Ehsaei is a musician, sound designer, producer, curator and promoter from Iran, currently based in London. Starting his musical career in the underground scene of his hometown Tehran, Ehsaei has since performed in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, Southbank Centre and the Royal Academy of Arts as well as several festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival, Womex, Womad, Fusion, Shambala and Linecheck. In addition to two solo albums that explore the borderlands of minimal techno, glitch and electroacoustic music, his resume includes work with the band Ariwo; he also runs the club night Parasang and is a resident on Palestine's eminent Radio Alhara.
