Portento a.k.a. Gabriel Pedrosa is a Basque producer who lives and works in Berlin. Since 2017, he has been composing and running an independent publishing business under this pseudonym. He currently runs the Ruego label together with Manuel Verdinelli. His music, which is characterised by a mixture of heavy vocal samples and simple, melodic field recordings, is an attempt to create compositions that are close to us but not yet known, an attempt to evoke dear, past moments.
