Piotr Biskupski

Piotr Biskupski is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań. He has won numerous individual awards in jazz competitions. He has cooperated with the leading lights of the Polish jazz scene. He runs the percussion class at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, where he is an associate professor. Artistic director of the International Percussion Forum as part of the Drums Fusion festival in Bydgoszcz, the Young Percussionists Competition "Young Masters of Percussion" in Brodnica, as well as the International Percussion Forum in Kolbuszowa. An expert at the Centre for Artistic Education, as well as a regular member of the Polish Jazz Association, Percussion Arts Society and SPAM. Awarded the Gloria Artis medal for special achievements for national culture.
