Phil Shoenfelt & Southern Cross
Phil Shoenfelt is a veteran of the punk and post-punk scene, having worked in London, Manchester and New York. In the 1980s he fronted the band Khmer Rouge, which played with icons such as The Clash, Nico and The Gun Club. After returning to London in 1984, the band broke up and Shoenfelt embarked on a solo career, later moving to Prague and forming Southern Cross. Alongside this he has worked in the Fatal Shore and Dim Locator projects, collaborated with Nikki Sudden and written several books. Most recently, he released the album Shapeshifter (2022) with former guitarist David Babka. In 2024, he recorded a four-song EP Caroline Says... And More, which gained attention on international radio. The song Come Along With Me was "Song of the Week" on Greek Yellow Radio.
