Petra Hermanova
During her studies at FaVU Petra Hermanova founded the music project Fiordmoss, with which she released three recordings. With her first EP Gliese (2010) she represented the band at the Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid. In 2012, Fiordmoss became the Discovery of the year in the first edition of the Vinyla Awards, after which they released their second EP Ink Bitten (2012). The album Kingdom Come (2017) was awarded the Anděl Award for the best electronic album of the year by the Academy of Popular Music.
After graduating, Hermanová's video work has turned to making music videos (for example: Dikolson, Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová) and animations, which she uses as projections for concerts of mostly electronic projects in the Norwegian music scene (Frost, Boska, Mental Overdrive). She has presented them, for example, at the Sónar festival in Stockholm, at the International Film Festival in Tromsø or at the Cynetart digital art festival in Dresden. Currently, Petra Hermanová focuses mainly on animation, which she presents in various contexts, in installations or with overlaps into fashion or music.
