Paweł Orkisz
Polish poet and songwriter associated with Krakow. Author of tourist and sailing songs like Przechyły. He has been performing since 1975, both solo and with bands. In the 1970s he was an editor of student song-books. In 1985 he moved to Gdańsk, where he conducted ballad evenings in Rudy Kot. In addition, in the years 1989-1993 he was the leader of Kapela Salonowa Baron in the Sopot Grand Hotel, and in the years 1987-1989 he performed Włodzimierz Wysocki songs in the Gdańsk Wybrzeże Theater. In his repertoire he also has songs of Okudżawa and Leonard Cohen.
