Paledusk

The band Paledusk was formed in 2014 in Fukuoka, Japan. From the beginning, it has focused on creating music that blends metal and electronic elements. Over the years, the band has undergone several lineup changes and gradually developed into a four-member formation consisting of vocalist Kaito, guitarists Daidai and Tsubasa, and drummer Bob.

The first significant stage of the band’s work includes the release of the EP War Declaration in 2017. This was followed by the EP Happy Talk, released in 2020, which contains four tracks representing a shift toward a combination of metalcore, melodic lines, and electronic arrangements. This period also included a reworked version of the track Lights.

Between 2020 and 2023, the band expanded its discography with several standalone singles and collaborations with other artists from both the Japanese and international scenes. During this time, Paledusk began to experiment more prominently with elements of hyperpop and industrial sounds, which gradually became one of the defining traits of its musical expression.

In 2024, Paledusk released the EP PALEHELL. This project includes new songs, previously released singles, and reworked older material. The EP also features several guest performers. During this period, the band further expanded its activities outside Japan, for example through tours in Australia and Europe, where it supported other musical acts.

In 2025, the band announced its first full-length studio album titled PALEDUSK, scheduled for release in November 2025. The album contains twelve tracks, including HUGs, I ♡ YOU BABY!!, PALEHELL, and RUMBLE. Some of these songs were released as singles prior to the album’s release, such as HUGs, which serves as the opening theme for the anime adaptation of Gachiakuta.
