Pałac Dąbrowski
The Winna Gora Palace was built at the beginning of the 20th century on the site of an 18th-century palace, which was given to General Jan Henryk Dabrowski by Napoleon during the Coalition Wars. In Dabrowski's hands, Winna Gora became an important center of Polish national thought; Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz, Wladyslaw Syrokomla and Henryk Sienkiewicz, among others, visited here. Since 2021 the Palace has been the seat of the insitution of culture of the local government of the Wielkopolska province. The nature of the institution is most accurately reflected by the term "center for the interpretation of history", which carries out its mission around the figure of General Jan Henryk Dąbrowski and the precursors and precursors of organic labor. Dabrowski Palace organizes cultural and civic initiatives, establishes cooperation with local institutions and organizations, and participates in building regional awareness of Wielkopolska. The interdisciplinary team of the Dabrowski Palace seeks answers to the questions of how the various historical paths of Poles to regain independence, related to both the figure of General Dabrowski and the organicists who built Polish economic and social strength, can support the understanding of modern times and inspire work to solve current problems.
