Oomph!
Cult German band Oomph! are returning to the stage after the departure of founding member and vocalist Dero Goi. During the tour, the yet unknown new line-up will visit Poznan's Tama.
Hailed as pioneers of the German Neue Deutsche Härte scene and heavily influencing late-'90s acts like Rammstein, Oomph! were arguably one of the most controversial, influential, and popular German goth-industrial bands to emerge in the early '90s. Founded in 1989, their sound originally veered closer to EBM until the release of their somophore album Sperm in 1994, earning Oomph! their first banned music video, but otherwise not changing much about their niche status. Eventually signing with Virgin Records as Neue Deutsche Härte became popular, they gained a larger following at the turn of the century. Their discography now comprises 13 albums, the latest of which is 2019's Ritual—their last with Dero Goi, who departed the band in 2021, with Oomph! carrying on as a duo.
