Israeli-born Noga Erez is taking listeners' hearts and playlists worldwide by storm with her original approach to ambitious electro-pop. The artist points to Björk, M.I.A, Flying Lotus, Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean as her musical inspirations, which already suggests the kind of music we are talking about here. In her tracks, Erez plays with vocals and raps well, while the synth beats by her partner Ori Rousso are cleanly produced dance numbers. Noga isn't afraid to tackle important worldview topics in her lyrics, and the really upbeat arrangements give them a new, more party-like dimension. Erez herself puts it this way: I had the idea that people should have fun with my music and at the same time have a reason to think and contemplate.
