Nettspend, whose real name is Gunner Shepardson, is an American rapper and songwriter from Richmond, Virginia. He began making music while still in school and broke into the mainstream in 2023 with the viral tracks Drankdrankdrank and Shine N Peace. His work draws on modern forms of trap, rage rap, and a genre known as jerk.
In 2024, he released his debut mixtape Bad Ass Fcking Kid*, which followed a series of standalone singles and live performances across the U.S. At the same time, he began collaborating with producers and artists associated with the new generation of American underground hip-hop. In addition to his musical career, he has also appeared in fashion campaigns for Miu Miu and Gucci.
His current work is showcased on his debut studio album Early Life Crisis, released in March 2026. The album features tracks such as Who TF Is U, Masked Up with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Pain Talk with OsamaSon.
