Mrakoplaš Light Orchestra

Pavel Lipták and Martin Kalenda formed an acoustic offshoot of the blues-rock formation Mrakoplaš.

This duo is based on blues and folk traditions and plays in the most basic form with only acoustic guitars and vocals. It was formed out of a need for closer contact with the audience and to be less tied down by arrangements than a big band. Both Pavel Lipták and Martin Kalenda play mostly their own original songs, inspired by life and what they see around them.
