Mound

Since 2017, Mound have been spreading a hypnotic aura that entices, tightly surrounds, then mercilessly drives the heaviness straight to the floor. Their second album, 2021's Pharisaism, doesn't give a moment's respite in this without being monotonous. It's a fusion of doom and black metal, but not in a forest-norwegian way, but in a modern way that goes boldly beyond its original framework.
