Moravian Theatre Olomouc

Moravian Theatre Olomouc is situated in one of the oldest theatre buildings in this country (opened in 1830). It consists of three artistic sections (opera/operetta, drama, and ballet).

In 1996 the then director of the theatre Václav Kožušník (1996–2010) initiated the birth of the Flora Theatre Festival – a project that started as a regional festival of Moravian theatres but worked its way up to be one of the international theatre festivals organized since 2009 by Divadlo Konvikt.
