Mor Wen
Mor Wen is Prague DJ, producer and performer. Her live shows have a ritualistic form, she uses masks and works with various sounded objects, which fills her electronic compositions.Together with her brother (who performs as Xynnh), she co-founded community collective Glory Affairs, under which she organizes concerts, workshops and performances. They also perform together as a live duo WyoXen.
The Planeta Za, Ankali and Gravity Network resident oscillates between community building, live performance, sound and sculpture shaping, DJing, keeping the borders between blurred at all times. Among experiences which influenced her practice is a participation in physical theatre, street dance, storytelling, intergenerational movement and cooking workshops, teaching children in Prague’s Vietnamese cultural centre of Sapa and finding joy in seemingly mundane but fascinating everydayness.
