ML Buch
Marie Louise Buch is a Copenhagen-based composer, producer, guitarist and singer. Following her debut EP Fleshy, she released the critically acclaimed album Skinned in 2017 under the Danish label Anyines. Her second full-length album, Suntub, consisting of 15 tracks, was released in October 2023 on the 15love label. In her compositional practice, ML Buch sketches her music in an almost architectural way. Her live performances, both solo and in group formations, reflect her penchant for combining open-tuned seven-string electric guitars with synthetic instruments and electronic experiments.
ML Buch has performed at festivals such as Pitchfork Paris Avant-Garde, Roskilde Festival, Fuchsbau Arts Festival, and in the program Sound and Vision at CPH:DOX, as well as in the Talking Choir Laurie Anderson project. She has also completed commissioned work with poet Ingvild Lothe and contributed to artist releases such as CTM, Jura, and Astrid Sonne (with whom she has also performed live)
