Mjut
Mjut, a Tricity band, comes from Dzialdowo, from where they set out to the sea in search of challenges and inspiration. The group debuted in 2007 with the song Do końca wszystkiego, which Piotr Kaczkowski placed on his compilation minimax pl 4. The next big step was the recording of the first album - Akcja Ratowania ślimaków (2011) brought stuffy and dark sounds, some melodies and some stories about the struggle of youth with the world. The album met with a friendly reception of the audience and critics, who emphasized the mature combination of different musical worlds and the charming atmosphere of the whole. Mjut also appeared on the jubilee release of the band happysad Zadyszka (2011), for which he prepared an original version of the song Łydka. The band's second album entitled 9 was released in 2015. The young experimenters, whose special mark was guitar landscapes varied by sophisticated electronics, mature and transformed themselves into conscious artists, able to give their ideas and emotions a very concrete form. Singles Tyle, ile chcę and Wszyscy ludzie i ja are convinced that the musicians decided to trust the melodies a little more and try their hand at classical song formulas. The refrains have become their natural ally, which does not prevent them from choosing less obvious solutions.
