Michał Jan Ciesielski
Michał Jan Ciesielski - saxophonist, composer, arranger, sound engineer, representative of the Tri-City jazz scene. A graduate of the Music Academy in Gdańsk in the jazz saxophone class of Maciej Sikała. He studied at Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam. Co-creator of Quantum Trio, Jan Konop Big Band, Zgniemność, Tymon Tymański & Mu. He is a finalist of the international Taichung Saxophone Competition in Taiwan, winner of the 6th International Improvisation Competition in Katowice in 2013 and the Review of Young Jazz Music Performers in Łomża. He is also a laureate of the award for the best instrumentalist of the Review of Young Jazz and Blues Bands of the Gdynia Sax Club.
