Michał Białko
Michał Białko was born in 1987 in Cracow. He graduated from the Cracow Academy of Music in the organ class of Professor Andrzej Białko (diploma with honours). He is also a graduate of the Conservatory van Amsterdam, where he studied in the organ class of Professor Pieter van Dijk. Currently he is a doctoral student at the Academy of Music in Cracow.
He is a laureate of the second prize at the National Organ Competition Mendelssohn-Eben in Cracow (2009). He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Poland (festivals in Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Leżajsk, Nowy Sącz and Tyniec), as well as in Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Lithuania, Ukraine and Italy. He has participated in numerous masterclasses. He collaborates with the Mixed Choir of Wawel Cathedral, Collegium Zieleński, Fresco Sonare and Octava Ensemble, as well as the Cracow Philharmonic. He regularly gives concerts with the violinist Marek Polański. He runs an organ class at the Władysław Żeleński State Secondary Music School in Kraków.
