Melanie Charles Quartet

Melanie CHARLES. This Brooklyn-Born, Haitian-American musician is truly a rarity. A master of many genres ranging from soul to jazz to Haitian roots music, Melanie Jean-Baptiste Charles always delivers. Melanie is graduate of the world famous LaGuardia High School For The Performing Arts as a flute major and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music with a degree in vocal Jazz performance. Melanie has already seen the world and performed as a leader and as a „featured singer” at top venues such as Blue Note NY, Milan and Japan, Duc Des Lombards in Paris, LPR in NY and many more. Melanie has worked on 2 albums with world renowned producer/ guitarist Nicola Conte and has been featured on his latest two albums „Love and Revolution” and „Free Souls” along side such heavy weights as Gregory Porter and Jose James.
