Mateusz Rybicki
Mateusz Rybicki is an improviser who plays the clarinet and bass clarinet. As a son of actor Tadeusz Rybicki, he grew up in the headquarters of the Cinema Theater in Michałowice, where he gained his first experience in the field of art. He currently lives and works in Wrocław. Constantly, in different configurations, he cooperates with double bassist Zbigniew Kozera. His inspirations include both Afro-American free jazz, European improvised music, as well as contemporary music, baroque music, minimalism, ethnic and traditional music. In addition to concerts, he has also cooperated with dancers and theater. He had the opportunity to play and collaborate with such artists as: Axel Doerner, Tristan Honsinger, Antonio Borghini, Peter Brotzmann, Steve Noble, Adam Pultz Melbye, Harri Sjorstrom, Noid, Matija Schelander, Mark Tokar, Emilio Gordoa, Piotr Damasiewicz, Gerard Lebik, Nicholas Trzaska, Wacław Zimpel, Paweł Szpura, Dominik Wania, Maciej Obara, Irad Mezliah etc.
