Marie Dvorská

Marie Dvorská began playing the violin at the age of four under the guidance of her father, PhDr. Ladislav Dvorský. A year later she became a pupil at the Prague LŠU in Voršilská Street in the class of Prof. Zdeněk Vyoral, who successfully prepared her for the entrance exams to the Prague Conservatory. There she was a student of Prof. Václav Snítil for four years, in whose class she continued for another five years at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She furthered her education with two years of postgraduate studies at the Musikhochschule Winterthur Zürich with Prof. György Pauk, with whom she later also studied privately at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
