Marcin Staniszewski
Elektronische Musik, Alternative/Indie | Composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, head of Color My Sound recording studio. A Batory Foundation scholarship holder, he studied sound production and engineering at, among others, New York University. Previously active as a music journalist and editor, contributor to such titles as “Film”, “Dziennik”, “Machina”, and “Foyer”. Now a promising artist who experiments with daring combinations of genres and styles. As leader of Beneficjenci Splendoru band, he creates eclectic music characterised by strongly expressive lyrics that defy and rebel against the present-day social and political reality. He also joins Pustki group on their concert tours. He has appeared at such major Polish festivals as OFF Festival, Tauron New Music and Open’er Festival. He is an expert on sound mixing, modular synthesis and sound design, as well as a certified Ableton Live 10 coach. He shares his knowledge and experience in the specialist monthly “Estrada i Studio”.
