Maciej Frąckiewicz
Klassische Musik | Maciej Frąckiewicz is the winner of one of the most prestigious accordion competitions in the world - the 20th International Arrasate Hiria Competition in Spain. In 2013, he received the Polityka's Passport. He is a laureate of prestigious international accordion competitions in Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Italy and Spain. He studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of prof. Klaudiusz Baran, at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold with prof. Grzegorz Stopa, in Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya with Inaki Alberdi, Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen in the class of prof. Mie Miki. He also participated in numerous master classes.
He regularly performs at festivals in Poland and abroad. He is invited as a juror during accordion competitions. An important part of his artistic activity is close cooperation with composers, including with Krzysztof Penderecki, Zygmunt Krauze, Dariusz Przybylski, Krzysztof Meyer, Wojtek Blecharz and Piotr Tabakiernik. He premiered over 90 songs, most of which were dedicated to him.
