Łukasz Makowski Quartet
In September 2019 the debut album of Łukasz Makowski titled Beautiful Landscape was premiered. The Quartet performs jazz/fusion/crossover jazz music. Łukasz Makowski - double bass player, bass guitarist, composer. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and Griegakademiet in Bergen with a master's degree in classical solo double bass. He is a musician with considerable experience in both jazz and classical music. He has played solo concerts with the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and the Bergen Unge Kammerorkester (youth chamber orchestra). He collaborates with some of the best musicians on the Polish, Norwegian, American and British jazz scene of the U.S.A. - Eddie Henderson, U.K. - Tony Kofi, Norway - Alf Wilhelm Lundberg, Poland - Tomasz Grochot, Marcin Jahr, Krzysia Górniak. His quartet also includes Łukasz Banaszkiewicz (saxophone), Paweł Kukuła (piano), Marcin Jahr (drums).
