Low Island
Low Island is a British music group formed in 2016. Its members are producer and DJ Jamie Jay, vocalist Carlos Posada, bassist Jacob Lively, and drummer Felix Higginbottom. Their work combines electronic music, indie, jazz elements, and dance rhythms. The band releases music through its own independent label, Emotional Interference.
In the early years of its existence, the group focused on releasing short recordings and singles, which were later compiled on the 2020 release Low Island 17–18. Other early projects include the EPs This Other Life and Just About Somewhere. In 2021, they released the studio album If You Could Have It All Again.
Low Island have performed at concerts in the United Kingdom as well as abroad. In 2022, they played a show at Prague’s Cross Club as part of the UpTone series.
