LKW Gallery

LKW Gallery is a gallery in a truck, permanently parked under an overpass on Szopy Street in Gdańsk. Established in 2008, it is run by Gdańsk's CCA Łaźnia, whose main branch is a few hundred metres away. From the beginning, the facility has functioned as a venue for artistic and educational activities. It hosts projects that aim to fill the place with new energy thanks to the development and running of a permanent curatorial programme by CCA Łaźnia. Thanks to its structure, the lorry has become an easily accessible, alternative cultural centre—a place where workshops, exhibitions, shows, film screenings and other forms of cultural and artistic activity regularly take place.
