Liběna Séquardtová

Oboist Liběna Sequardtová began studying classical oboe with prof. Voráčová in Pardubice. Graduated from the Prague Conservatory in the class F.X. Thuri, Academy of Performing Arts with prof. George lamprey. As a soloist he has performed with all the leading Czech orchestras (Symphonic Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice, Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra Hradec Kralove, etc.) and some foreign orchestras performed outside the country (Liverpool, Salzburg, Luxembourg) with orchestra Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Solistees Européenes Luxembourg ad). For the systematic implementation of outstanding oboe concertos was awarded the Czech Music Fund. From 1987 he worked as a founding member of the ensemble Ars Instrumentalis pragensis with which in 1996 won the international competition of chamber ensembles in Osaka, Japan. With this body acquired a number of recordings, one of which must be picked up at least a full recording of JD Zelenka trio sonatas (Multisonic), or recording songs Zelenka and his contemporaries for a Japanese company Pony Canyon. Since 1997 he has expanded his chamber effect even on membership in the file Czech Wind Harmony, with whom he has played on many stages in European capitals. Since 2000 he is active as a teacher at the Music Faculty of the Prague Academy of Music and also at Pilsen Conservatory and is a regular guest expert juries in this country and abroad.
