The group is led by the famous violin virtuoso Ivan Herák. Lavutari di Praga features musicians with classical music training. His two sons Ivan on violin and Filip on double bass also play in the ensemble. They have brought together, among others, renowned violinists Josef Šenki and Sebastin Holub, guitarist Milan Novák, dulcimer player Josef Holub, accordionist Zoltán Vöros and double bass player Petr Novák.
