Labello
Labello is a Czech autotune cloud rapper from Prague. Together with rappers Domo, Anki and others he is part of the music label Die Mannschaft.
Labello's work glosses the ordinary, and often slightly embarrassing and naughty life of a young person in Prague. In his lyrics he talks about today's hookup culture and party life with exaggeration. He started his career with the release of two albums called Autotune AF in 2019. The first album opens with a track with the apt title Jelení lůj and the whole album Autotune AF closes with the track Šel jsem jen pro těstoviny, on which he was assisted by ICY L, and which earned a sequel on the album Autotune AF 2.
The album Autotune AF 2 also featured the track Fotbal a Rap, where he and Cashanova Bulhar defined their love for both rap and football specifically. On Spotify, this track already has over 12 million streams and is one of Labella's most successful tracks. Labello also expressed his love and admiration in the track Vanda Janda, which is dedicated to the Slovak fashion designer of the same name.
In 2020 he released the album POP and in 2021 he added another album right away called Falsetto Diamant, on which he enriched his vocal range of a falsetto. His latest effort is the project Holly Labello, released in 2024.
