KUPE

KUPE is a cultural and artistic space in the building of the former water tower at the eastern railway station in Opava. It houses a gallery specialising in photography exhibitions, a multifunctional hall offering the possibility of a cinema. In addition to film screenings, there are concerts, talks and lectures. The space of the tower itself and the outdoor terrace are complemented by a permanent exhibition of works by the academic sculptor Kurt Gebauer, and there is also a café in the building.
