We Were Evergreen
Originally Paris, now operating in the UK band We Were Evergreen consists of three multi-instrumentalists Michael Liot, Fabienne Debarre and William Serfass. In addition to traditional instruments and electronics used to love the exotic instruments and not very typical for its genre, indie-electro-pop. Among them must be ukulele, banjo, charango and xylophone. Musicians recognize different musical roots: Michael grew up in the sixties pop, Fabienne on jazz and rock, William’s parents were conductors and son surrounded by childhood classic. This also implies the wide range of inspiring trio in which we find a recording of Paul Simon’s 70th years, disco-funk Stevie Wonder, crazy folk-pop-electro Sufjan Stevens, but also contemporary French and London’s electronic music scene.
