Postman (real name Kostiantyn Pochtar) is a Ukrainian musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer, and songwriter and a member of Kyiv-based rock band 5 Vymir. He has released 2 EPs, 1 LP Everything is New and has played more than 90 gigs in 8 European countries since 2016. Postman sings in English and Ukrainian. Though his music is mostly joyful and carefree, his lyrics often bring up sensitive and important human topics. Postman is an attentive observer of everyday life. He’s focused on human relations, social and personal contradictions, and living between extremes, on a man searching for one’s calling. His main influences come from the 60’s, especially Donovan, Nick Drake, and Gene Clark along with the writings of Herman Hesse.
