Early Birds
The band was formed on the initiative of Martyna Kwolek, who in the band plays the role of vocalist, composer and lyricist. Early Birds' music is primarily the leader's own songs, but also jazz standards in original arrangements. The genres oscillate between jazz and sung poetry. They sound closer to the north - Scandinavia, Iceland - places from which they have been inspired for years. Thanks to the unique combination of instruments, which includes: vibraphone, double bass, saxophone and percussion set, the sound of Early Birds is so intriguing and unique. In May 2017 their first phonographic fruit was born, released for the Slovak label Hevhetia. The album Świt was warmly received by both music critics and the audience.
