Indie-rock group dEUS was founded in 1989 in the second largest Belgian city of Antwerp. Although started with a cover, soon created his own repertoire, which reflect influences as diverse artists as Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, Sonic Youth and Leonard Cohen. Seemingly disparate elements of the genre, however, always knew how to brilliantly combine them and create a mesmerizing musical mosaic that stated in awe listeners and music critics all over Europe.
Frequent personnel changes in the band and the different interests of its members in 2000 resulted in temporary hybernation creative group. This fortunately did not last long. In mid-2004 began working on new dEUS album Pocket Revolution, with which in 2005 took on a world tour covering more than 130 concerts. In 2008, the fifth, highly prized, recording, Vantage Point, to which in September this year established by the above mentioned album Keep You Close.
