Bartas Band
Bartas Band is a jazz band, regularly performing in and outside Prague clubs, occasionally at festivals. The band has managed to release their first CD called "Blues in Jazz", which typically maps to the blues roots in the jazz repertoire.
The band plays quite freely across jazz styles like fusion, soul jazz, acid jazz, funk jazz, post bop and groove. In her repertoire there are names such as Jimmy Smith, George Gershwin, Benny Golson, Ray Charles, Grant Green, Jack McDuff, Oscar Peterson, Brian Auger, John Scofield.
