Santabarbara

Santa Barbara – the latest project of the second generation Pospieszalski brothers initiated by Łukasz, Marek, Szczepan and Nikodem Pospieszalski. On a daily basis, they move on various musical grounds, from popular, electronic and classical music, through folk music, to avant-garde improvisation. In this project they try to show what is their concept of creating a song, but they do not rely on common formal and compositional patterns. The primary role in each song is played by melody and harmony, which they try to approach in an unobvious arrangement way. In their work, they are inspired by influences from James Blake, Radiohead, Metronoma, as well as purely electronic music, even techno.
