Ośrodek Kultury Górna
The Górna Culture Center is an active place in Łódź's cultural life for 40 years. Various classes are organized here for various age groups (art, music, vocal, theater), as well as vocal and music competitions, concerts and artistic presentations. The Active Senior Center is also active here. The Górna Culture Center specializes in proprietary cultural education programs and animation events. It is an institution open to residents' initiatives. In October 2012, the center expanded its area of activity to the Olechów housing estate, opening a branch under the name of Open Culture Zone. The established branch also operates within schools. The Open Culture Zone offers artistic classes for children and families as well as events and meetings for seniors.
