Krzikopa

Krzikopa is a modern band reviving the musical traditions of Upper Silesia, based on old folk songs, showing the rich past of the region. Krzikopa uses acoustic instruments (accordion, violin) and traditional singing techniques (white vocals), but this acoustic sound is supported by modern electronics and an unusual drum kit. This approach revives old folk music and modernizes it to the point in which it can appeal to an audience as big as it had originally in the past, which makes the adventure with Krzikopa a unique journey in time and space.
